‘The most excellent course I’ve done in the church. Thank you so much for the information and, more importantly, the inspiration.’
The Rural Ministry Course is designed for lay and ordained church leaders across the denominations entering a rural appointment for the first time, and those already in rural ministry who feel the need for a ‘refresher’. The three-day programme employs a variety of approaches including practical sessions, group work and workshops led by practitioners, and includes sessions on understanding rural contexts, mission and growth, leadership, farming and work with children and young people in the countryside. October’s RMC will still have the rural, ecumenical focus we’re well-known for here at the ARC. All are still welcome to book on & join us, whether involved in lay or ordained rural mission and ministry, but this particular course will have a special focus for those in the initial phase of their ministry in rural contexts (for example in roles such as probationary ministers, curates, deacons, lay pastors, or other forms of accredited leadership.) We look forward to meeting you in October. Fees are £300 per delegate for the residential course. Fees include a one-year subscription to Country Way magazine.
