Seed-Corn Grants: Apply now…

The Rural Missioners’ Guild is delighted to support the creative, the small, and the local. We believe that often the most profound changes in our rural communities start with a tiny kernel of an idea—a “seed-corn” that simply needs a little nourishment to grow.

About the Grants

We are offering small grants of up to £200 to help new local expressions of rural mission flourish. Whether it is a new gathering in a village hall, a creative outreach project in a farmyard, or a fresh way of connecting with your neighbours, we want to help you seed it.

How it Works

As a community-supported initiative, the level and frequency of the grants we can award are directly linked to the growth of our Guild. By joining the Guild, members aren’t just accessing resources; they are directly funding the grassroots mission of others across the countryside.

  • Who can apply? Members with a creative, grassroots idea for rural mission.

  • What can the funds be used for? Start-up costs, resources, or small-scale equipment that helps a new project get off the ground.

  • What is the limit? You may apply for any amount up to £200.

  • When will we hear? Decisions are announced on the 15th May (St Isidore’s Day)
