Germinate celebrates with Coventry Diocese

New CEO Claire Maxim and Germinate administrator Deb Soesan had a wonderful time at the 100th birthday celebrations of the Diocese of Coventry, held at Coventry Cathedral on Saturday 5 May. It was so good even the Archbishop of Canterbury couldn’t stay away! The Germinate stall attracted loads of visitors, partly helped by our sunny spot at the foot of the tower in the ruins of the old cathedral.

We met several people who remembered making tea with the Arthur Rank Centre at the Royal Show in days of yore, and it was a pleasure to reconnect with them and hear their memories of our roots. We also met loads of people who didn’t know we are based in their Diocese, so it was good to make new friends. Everyone at Germinate wishes the Diocese of Coventry a very happy birthday!
